Microsoft has ended development of free-to-play flight simulation Microsoft Flight, incurring a number of job losses in the process.

Project Columbia, an unannounced Kinect game, also got the chop.

Development of both was centred at Microsoft's Vancouver studio. Numerous employees spilled news of the lay-offs last night via social media - as spotted by Kotaku.

EA boss: “the fastest growing platform for video games today is the PC”

Releasing on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on the 13th of September (09/13/2012), Borderlands 2 is complete and ready to go, according to Gearbox. Their developers are now hard at work on DLC so that gamers can expect new content to be available and well made within 2 to 3 months of the game's release. Blizzard: “We know it’s not there right now”

Blizzard Community Manager, Bashiok, has been discussing Diablo 3′s endgame on their official forums. Posting on the “Endgame Solutions” thread, he’s admitted that “the item hunt is not enough for a long sustainable end-game.” Players have criticised Diablo 3′s repair costs and difficulty spike at higher levels, saying it becomes something of a grind.

Danger Close has released their first reveal of the multi-player component of the upcoming Medal of Honor: Warfighter. With the game set to release October 23rd.
