Star Wars: The Old Republic got great reviews and was seen by many as a worthy successor to BioWare's beloved Knights of the Old Republic. But it's suffered declining subscriber numbers and had to deal with layoffs. Now they're trying to reverse the trend with free play… up to a point.

If you haven't yet tried the game, you'll now be able to play it up to level 15 completely free and with no time limit. If you tried the game through one of the previous free weekend trials or using a refer... [read more]

Minecraft 1.3: The good, the bad, and the ugly
via Mojang Blog

Minecraft 1.3 consists of a huge number of changes, and some of them are changes to the fundamental game engine. The World Is A Vampire
via IGN

Don’t accuse The Elder Scrolls of selling out to the modern-day pop-culture vampire craze. In fact, you’ll be thankful Dawnguard went down this road.

That’s primarily because the new campaign – accessed at character level 10 or high... [read more]
