Ok, this has been a while coming:

The server can be set to kick players that aren't moving for x amount of seconds. Rather than using that unconditional approach, I decided to set it so that registered users (ie. level 1) can use the !afk command to move afk players who don't answer into spec I will advertise this command on the server too.

The server will in turn be configured to auto-kick these players if they stay too long in spec when the server is getting close to full. The following are some of my main settings:

# sinterval sets checking intervals in minutes, 0 disables function
# it will warn 3 times before kick, so kick after: maxspectime + (3 * sinterval)

sinterval: 1

# How long a player may idle in spec in minutes
maxspectime: 3

The level of players before this spec check kicks in will be: 8. This is because the 6 bots aren't counted - so that would technically be 14, and leave room for 2 spare slots.

Members above level 20 ( ie. admin) are immune to this kick - great for if they are demoing

how about raising the maximum number of players? the server is always full

We plan on catering to the server population soon with between 24 and 32 slots over our existing 16.
