On my main forum I just need 10 more posts to my 5k-counterparty.

And with this post I secure myself an additional C+1 in this forum. :p
But it's also sad that Hunt and I are the most active posters here, the forum needs more people to get a good and regular conversation.

And don't forget about Peg, he has probably posted the most letters in this forum already.

Yeah Peg has longest posts here

Btw, of course Pegasus posts almost always have a lot of exact and useful information, but he likes to use a lot of speech expressions, examples, comparison, multi-word explanations etc. IMHO sometimes it's way over (especialy when talking about something simple) and not easy to read thru all post, especialy when most sentences arent esential for post point

Of course, no offence Peg, you know i'm not agressive I've just read three your posts and have tired a little, thats why i've wrote this.

Heh, no offense taken, don't worry.

Look, I know my posts can be long-winded and wordy at times from the point I start to when I "get to the point", but I write, talk and think in that thorough and analytical fashion because I think it's right way to lay it all on the table, cover all angles and, thus, not run the risk of missing anything when presenting an argument or an idea; it's just how my brain works.

What I can tell you for certain, though, is, I wasn't always posting this way. Both my though process and my writing style has changed several times through my life, and considering I've been doing most of it online since '99 or so, it hasn't been an uncommon phenomenon to look back at things I wrote months or years ago at times and cringe at the way my attitude was coming out, my ideas were phrased, hell, even at the state of my spelling. Point is, how we talk, think and express ourselves is a work in constant progress and evolution, hopefully towards improvement. To that end (better shaping and explanation of your ideologies, improving your language skills and so on), what I've found to be of immense help has been reading up on things that interest me in other languages - english for the most part, but any one will do. For example, pick a subject you care about in your life - be it sports, science, video games, philosophy, world news, whatever - and make an effort to find alternative, but good, sources for info on it online, like newspapers' sites, op-ed articles or reviews, blogs, special interest msg boards, whatever you cna get your hands on; ask others for recommendations as well if you're looking for the first time too. The material you'll come across and start reading is bound to start helping you improve your foreign language skills and you'll find that you're starting to pick up more nuanced expressions, criteria and ways of thinking as well. And it's a very natural thing, as your eyes can never be opened to the higher standards that exist out there if you don't run into them somehow; looking for yourself is the best way to do that. Reading news from foreign, but respectable, online sources, for example, can even help broaden your perspective from a political and ideological POV as well, since IMO it is only by cross-referencing different articles on a given story or issue that you can start to form a better opinion for yourself, not only about the story itself, but about the people/organizations that cover it and their own agendas. Anyways, I've probably explained this enough, I think you catch my drift here.

I'm not saying I'm an example for everyone to aspire to, just that there are some practical "tools" and methods that can help everyone improve their mental and linguistic skills and IMO it's something everyone can benefit from, as I believe I have. So yeah, what you see in my posts is the product of years of continuous change and reforging, please excuse any mess and thank you for your understanding, management is doing the best it can :p.

Peggy,
As a native english speaker I have to say I applaud your use of my language. Also not wishing to sound condescending at all, I am also surprised at your maturity. Your arguements are usually very well worded and obviously thought through.
Many online games forums are littered with bored kids insulting each other. This is probably why their servers are stuffed with idiots.
TECHCOM has captured and held my personal attention for so long because being a mature gamer(36) I enjoy the fact that "most" of our players are there for the game! With some exceptions of course.
Long live TC;)

Nope, about the date today.

Never taken a closer look to my email-adress?
