Don't check the game port, that causes log spam and could be perceived as some kind of attack. Use the query port (game port + 9) instead.

Everything seems to be fine, what's up?
Edit: Everything isn't fine, when browsing from the server I can't open some sites. Maybe the provider has some connection issues to some countries.

I don't call pings in the 140s "all right" and lately, as in the entire past few weeks it seems, the zone during the day when that starts to happen for me has expanded from 20:00-00:00 to even further, say 18:00 to midnight when my own connection has remained the same in every way (I've checked). My usual ping's around 100-120ms and those added 20ms of latency throw my aiming completely off, screwing up my performance and therefore my ONS experience. It goes without saying that if a server can't meet my expectations for a decent experience, I have no reason to torture myself by staying there for others' sake, so I just go someplace else - and you know where that is because I see you there as well. Just a small preemptive explanation there so nobody later takes me to task by asking stuff like why my "loyalties" have shifted lately.
Tidy up the shop and the regulars will be the first to appreciate it. |

I'm bored of that criticism, sorry. Everyone wants to play for free. Thanks to Jendrys's enthusiasm and his company it's possible. Nobody wants to pay monthly fees if I move the server somewhere. Everything's clear and easy.

Please note, neither of the above implies that your and Jendrys' efforts all through TechCom's course up to #1 in popularity (and down from there afterward) aren't recognized or appreciated. Critical, or cynical, doesn't equal ungrateful or forgetful. Finally, perhaps you don't need to move the server, perhaps you do, I don't know and I don't have evidence to support either suggestion. What I do know is that things have gotten worse connection-wise (at least for me) and that should be addressed if things are expected to take a turn for the better soon. |

Ok, noted. After the TechCom's provider improves it's connection, you can expect lower pings. Last post regarding this in "server down" thread.
