As you have seen, i was less on the server, maybe you think that's good! No. Tomorrow u see me again^^ I was busy working on my new map.
Always wanted to make a map, now i did.
Here is a glimpse of my new map and i made it exclusively for Techcom and the freelancers! And my dear followers=)

Ok it is back online, yesterday evening shutted down for installing updates! Same IP! I put the map online this afternoon.

I am curious.

Also thought already about making us a map like Titan-Necropolis for the Titans, but had no idea where to start.


I hope the * and ! are not in the mapname. Server as well as UT doesn't like special signs, I think.

ok, told you already but here again for all to witness..

played the map for 42mins --> got almost 1000 points in the end... and the bots also had >300... which is ridiculous and way too high...


i proposed the following:

- remove mine layer
- remove rocket launcher
- reduce points for nodebuilding


i also want to mention the following:

- why is one primary side accessable so easily (stairs) - whilst you gotta shield jump from outside to get to the other primary? that way the whole game concentrates on the tank-side whereas on the other there is not much action.

- redeemer: good way to get to it, not too easy... but seriously, adding bigKeg AND supershield on top of their makes is just perfect for campers... they shoot down from there and once they are hurt badly they just wait for the shield and health to reappear and voila - continue to camp. AND there is a weapon locker up there which basically could make me stay up there the whole game through - without dying AT ALL!!! thats no so cool.


- the midde node that is nearest to the core is not well accessable when on ground... rather add a jumppad than those 3 small steps which takes you like forever to get up there.


- once one team has all nodes, it is almost impossible to get to the core without dying! that takes me to another point: the walkways to the primaries are just toooo narrow... there is not even enough space for 2 ppl next to each other....
having the mine layer or not, backup is too easy to shoot down and its very hard to build the node back up (at least the one with the stairs)




- overall i like the map design, but there is not enough cover on the ground so that it's just WAY too spammy atm.
