Aimbotting,wall hacking,spawn camping,mean mugging,and flame warring...these are a few of my favorite things:D

But seriously,lately I've noticed a lot of accusations of "hacking" against certain highly skilled players.Most if not all of them have been "spec'd" for a few minutes by me and showed no signs of cheating in any way...unless you happen to consider "being better than you" a form of cheating.Which I DO!:P Just kidding,I actually admire some of the better players for their insanely accurate maneuvering and shooting.A few handles that come to mind are Bull_Dozer or Zoltar(who I once flamed for the crime of "being better than me").Anyway,the point is:Spec before you accuse,because a lot of us who suspect hax have already checked out the guy who keeps nailing you and we know better.It makes us lol at your sheer noobery:)

I would just add some other really skilled people like germanphreak or ButterflyInTheSky, playing with them is a real pleasure !
If I can add one more thing, it's that skill comes with playing and learning by practice, and I always considered cheating as an act coming from frustrated people...
Fortunately, there are more real players than cheaters...

I agree with your philosophy of game play/practice and cheating doesn't really seem worth it to me...different strokes for different folks I guess.

One thing,I've specced a lot of the better regular players and even the hotdogs who show up once in a blue moon and I've never,not once,caught anyone cheating.There's a YouTube video that claims a guy is "wall hacking" but when they show spec video footage nothing looks out of the ordinary to me.Those guys all ganged up on the guy and "gangteabagged' him and then permabanned him...never did spot anything weird,even the things the vid pointed out looked normal to me.

I think i've seen this vid too, and it takes me almost ten times to see the trick : the guy takes look through walls, but that's not so evident.
I also experienced a cheat of head shot on a {95th rifle} FFA server. Either not so evident to see, but with playing the demo several times, it becames evident : the laser light goes automaticaly on head, then with only one bullet that's on. It was an admin, spectator, that discovered it...Falcon eye, I guess...

About an hour ago I got on the ninja server(that's what I think of it as)and was just ON,if you know what I mean.I nailed nearly everyone I encountered in several maps like it was nothing.

The guys I was playing against were just OFF,not that they aren't good,many of them better than me even,but I had Urt by the balls this morning.I seemed to win almost every skirmish sometimes nailing 5 or 6 guys in the process.It was GREAT:-)

Of course,next thing you know a couple of guys are specing...no one said anything,but I could feel the vibe...seriously,I was on a total rampage,some of my best game play in a FP shooter EVER.Weird feeling being singled out(even tacitly)because you are "tearing it up" or "Pwning",whatever you want to call it.

The guys watching handled it perfectly by specing before speaking and messing up my game with a bunch of cross talk.Obviously I wasn't cheating and I appreciate not having to defend myself while I try to play a winning game.

I know this feeling : nothing can happen to you, high run on the map, 5 or 6 "nailed to the wall" before a simpe hurt...great !
That was almost the way I feeled yesterday on FN NINJA, but a cute little parasite did stop my enthusiasm...the cheat was so evident (aimbot : 2 bullets for a strike, and perhaps wallhacking, but i'm not sure) that I took a demo and send it asap to the admin....
It took less than 20 hours to ban this guy...
As I said in my mail, those guys are like parasites : if we don't act immediatly and take really efficient measures, they are like flies : they always come back...

But in this case, I was able to measure my progression since I first met the world of UrT...not only with beating 5 time an aimbot (on different maps... ), but also with the demo send immediately...with this quite laconic reply "banned, ty". Target reached !

I would also welcome our third member, Melina...International clan, sure !

I know I am not a member of this clan, but Sal and I kind of linked up through here (GT). I just wanted to let you all know that there is a Nick stealing hacker terrorizing the FN Ninja Shooting Gallery server lately. It's been over a week I think. I flooded the FN clan site with demos on this jerk and it seems they are finally trying to take care of it. He has been using other regular player's names and hacking. He seems to really like my name (Palemoon) for some reason. Milena got to watch the show tonight when ZKAT kept kicking him and he would come right back.

So before you guys get too upset about regular players all of a sudden hacking...keep the above in mind...it's not the regular players. Those that know me, know better...but I still catch hell sometimes going on that server now. So, just thought I would warn ya...and good luck with the clan!

Oh, one way to tell if it's me...My weapon of choice is LR300...the hacker seems to like SR8 and HKG36 mostly.

Good on you getting some admin action going on the server and that's a very good point about regular players'

That one whiney guy,Major Buffa or something was calling a regular(h20 college) a "haxxor".Of course I suggested speccing before raising the alarm and accidentally offended College by not jumping to his defense.Via text,I was trying to lead Maj.Buffa to the right conclusion(College is simply a superior player)by asking pointed questions and College took that to mean I thought he might be haxxing.College is one of those guys who doesn't need to cheat and would probably be offended at the suggestion that he couldn't pwn anyone he wants,at will.Probably I'll address that with College next time I see him because it wasn't at all clear that he realized I was on his side of the issue.

Also:I DID notice that "palemoon" had gone from being rather evenly matched with me to "boom headshot" every encounter.I didn't think much of it at the time,I just figured you were riding the adrenalin and caffeine:-D

I wish! lol Yeah, I was pissed he was hacking, but when he took my name I took it personal and went off on the FN Admins. They seem to be monitoring Shooting Gallery more now. I was almost to the point of starting my own server! lol

I don't know what Zoltar does different, but when I PM him about a hacker on his server, they disappear and don't come back.

ok, I accepted the invite...had to make sure I was not still listed with [*IZ*]. I was with them for a short bit, but they are on the other side of the planet and the time schedule didn't work out too well. Although, the biggest issue was the servers they played on put me at a 300+ ping...screw that.

So where do I sign in blood? lol
