This is getting annoying. I keep joining games, where random people just spam the grenade launcher, lagging the server like crazy, and when I ask them to stop... I get kicked.............. this is really just completely idiotic...

Part of what we need at this point is for you to start collecting information or there is nothing that we can do to assist yourself or anyone else in our servers. Before you start saying anything to anyone in the server, be prepared by pulling up console and type "status" and collect the names and steam IDs of those that are causing issues with playability and copy and paste them to one of the admins that may be on your Friends List or save the information to a text file for later use. Get screen shots of the offenses as proof for us. You can even do a screen shot of console after you type the Status command to have the Steam IDs in a screen shot.

Once you have this information, especially if there are no admins available to assist at the time, you really have the upper hand, but make sure when you ask players to reduce Grenades or Bile to be as polite as possible (you don't have to be pristine, just try not to be TOO demanding) and see if they comply or if they just want to be butts. We understand if conversation can get heated, but do your best to not let anyone get under your skin and "try to keep a level head and keep your composure". Just remember, if you keep a level head and have good information available for us, idiots may kick you once, but that could be the last time they do it, so essentially, you will be kicking them through us.

Don't do it for your pride or ego, do it to help police the servers. As we get more trust that you handle things the way we want them handled, you get more credibility and respect with us and we return that to you as well. Post any information that we need to know here or on sgcguns.com. It is with evidence that we have leverage to get players to comply with being teamplayers or keep them out because they can't be.

well once you get the steam ids and names, just copy and paste em to a notebook page like i do, or just post em directly to this forum

when it comes to telling them to stop spamming stuff, i just refer them to the motd.
