Ok, so we have all been playing FEAR for years, me... I'm 7 years now (cannot get any better though) hehe. Here is my proposal. I am all up for a good holiday, I mean we all work hard, play hard so let's have some fun.

What I am suggesting is that in say 6 months or even a year from now we organise a get together. Kinda like a Convention, however it will be purely meet up, have an awesome time and get drunk!

I would like to know who is up for this, we could organise it say in Southern Europe, like Croatia or the Czech Rep. More to Greece as we can have the Sea, Sun and loads of topless women.

MXT too, if you read this and think it would be a good idea. A year to save a few quid, etc. We should definitely do this. It would be fun.

We all know each other, and I think this could be really good times.

I have a friend who works for the BBC (English TV channel), and they are producing a documentary on Gadget;s, computer's etc and online gaming which will air around July 2013. I asked if they would consider our story. FEAR Combat, the game that has so many regular players and it's lasted so long to tell our story. Would be really good documentary and they are interested, and we would be on TV!!!

Uh , well thats kind of a big thing to deal with. It sounds nice , but for something like that it takes some good organization and will. I am up for anything and you can count me in lol.

IM curious what other people will say about this, ewrthing is posible but is a chaleging thing to do . Does anybody have some organization skills on a world wide scale:)

Nice to see some Feedback. It's not that hard to do, I organise major IT corporations on a daily basis, so this is cheesy pie! lol. All we need is a date. A place and then we meet? Star Trekkers, Star Wars fans do it.. So why not us?

I think as a starting point we need to vote.

1 - Place and time
2 - organiser

I dont mind to organise this, There is never gonna be a place that suits everybody, but think of it as a holiday. And not just a holiday, you can actually shake hand;s and have a beer with the person who you have played FEAR with for so long!

It's not that hard. Just a commitment, and wanting a holiday...

i agree, im not playing fear until september but i'll check the forum

first we should have a website in order to get together, because not all the players come on gametracker.

Ok, will knock something up. Maybe a BB board or some kind of Forum within the next week or so. This may be some time for next Summer as mentioned and think it would be fun as were all different age mixes. Also gives everybody chance to book a few day's (week) off work too...

Even if a handful of us go I think it would be fun! So will publish the link etc once completed.

Obviously if people have already booked a holiday for next Summer with family and friends it will be hard for them but thinking of making this central/Southern Europe as most players seem to live in this location. It may not work, but think it's worth a shot!
