This truly fascinating question has entered my mind many times recently. So I decided, with US effectively closing in a week’s time, it would be good to address this question to the remaining 5-10 active US members - what did your current leader *actually* do in his time in charge here? Here is my analysis:

You could argue that a gaming clan leader’s responsibility include; paying for the game server, keeping clan problems in order, maintaining a good reputation of the clan, recruiting worthy members who deserve the tag, keeping the server active, and more. Now, it is difficult from where I am sitting to see whether any of these duties were fulfilled by the current leader or not.

Let’s start off with the server – well, it’s not great reading is it? Essentially the members are being asked to join FAB because the US server subscription expires on 25 May. In the current climate, that is understandable – hardly anyone ever plays on the server, so why waste money on it? However, the key area of focus was the funding of the server when it was active in the years gone by. Either getting it free off MarkMods, or asking DULOKS to host one himself, the leader has looked for every alternative to have a clan server without taking on the responsibility of paying for it. Now, you might say: this is just a little thing, who cares? But the same applies to TeamSpeak. Finding low level ways to getting a free TS server, such as appointing a multiple hacker into the clan or, as is the case now, joining alliances with FAB (if you can’t beat em, join em!).

Still, you might say that is just a small thing, and doesn’t really matter. So let’s move onto the next responsibility – maintaining a good reputation of the clan. Now I don’t want to get banned from this forum or have this post deleted, but the nicest way I could describe US’ reputation from the outside is: not very good. Due to poor and I would say lazy recruitment, it is flooded with double clanners, ex-cheaters, spys (many that are still not known or ‘accepted’) and more. Meanwhile, one of the notable outgoings have been a trio of senior persons that went on to start a clan that then went on to win a VIP tournament. It’s a bit like a sieve – only the large, chunky parts that stay at the top has been the crap, while the good stuff has leaked out. Now of course you might say “Who cares? I don’t give a fuck what people think”. Well generally it’s that kind of dismissive attitude that is portrayed by those who don’t wish to improve themselves – either through sheer inadequacy or just a lack of effort. To be a laughing stock in the community, which it’s fair to say US has become, doesn’t reflect well on the tactical decisions the leader has taken.

In conclusion, it is very tough to see what your leader has actually done in the past years to prove he was actually the leader of this institution. Now of course, SWAT is just a game, this is just a clan, something we will all forget about when we enter our 30s and above. But I still would like to know (while I have the chance), what do US members think that CoD Schlot has done for them over the past few years? Apart from providing GIFs as comebacks when people have criticised him, and looking like a wannabe beach model on his facebook.

Why exactly would it be good to adress this question to us? N why exactly would you care about this and take time to write this very interesting analysis?

For me, Schlot has two bananas and several potatoes. The end.

Now you got me confused. If Schlot and Narko got free TS and gameservers, then what did they spend the 50 euro's I send them for those servers on?

Well, as I said at the beginning, US is effectively closing in a week, so it's interesting to hear member views. Generally, when something comes to end, people talk about "legacys" i.e. what that thing will be remembered for when it's gone. So I want to know what members will remember Schlot for - what actual positive things do his folks think he brought to this clan under his leadership? I care because I am a former FAB member and so what the US contingent does from here will obviously be in my thoughts.

I don't know if that's real or a joke, but if it is true it kind of further emphasises the point of getting things "for free" from the leader's perspective, when a member has to donate the money to rent a 16 slot SWAT 4 server on the clan's behalf. But anyway, that is just a small thing, if people are poor then compromises have to made, and I understand that. It was just 1 thing I talked about, which usually comes under a leader's responsibility but doesn't matter too much, just added for relevance.

Could you enlighten me on what facts I got wrong? If it is about the reputation or recruitment, then I cannot really add much without running the risk of getting banned, sorry

They can be honest too, because their relation as clan mate will be over in a week, and I doubt many will go on to join FAB or FUB or whatever, since most won't be handle the 150+ ping and even if a European server is bought, the sheer difference of personalities will lead to inevitable problems (can you image VicMackey playing with Slash, Hug or Xavi? Fireworks xD)

I'm sry bcs I couldn't stay away from this ,u all have the right to say that I'm not US nor FAB but I've known Schlot for long and when the fingers are pointed at him I really feel disturbed .:(
@Dayboo : idk if u know me or if I know u but I was a member of US for years so I had the chance to know some great guys here and I assure u that Schlot is one of the greatest .. I don't think u know but when our ex-clan leader Shrut decided to leave he asked some of us to take the lead and Schlot took the risk with some other great buddies of him, so they kinda saved our butts from that responsibility and risk .All that time while he was the leader of the clan he was such a reliable,labored,honorable,enjoyable and lovable guy ..So in my eyes all I can say is u should be happy since u r going to get to know such a great guy like Schlot and pls don't be prejudiced before u get to know him well .. I decided to write these bcs I'm an outsider and my words may hopefully mean sth to u and the ones in FAB who r sharing ur ideas .. Lastly, u may think y did u leave US then but well that had nothing to do with Schlot and the leaders of US ,he was ma friend then ,he is now and hopefully he will be in da future too ...
