Hey guys, I registered a Just Cause 2 Multiplayer server on here weeks back, and GameTracker was detecting it fine and showing it as alive. Well after a while, I setup the server to run in the background as a service on my Windows server, whereas before I was running it under my user account for testing. It seems like ever since changing it to run as a service, GameTracker has shown the server as "Dead", even though it is clearly joinable and there are players in it almost everyday.
http://www.jc-mp.com/servers/ <- That site has no problem querying the server and even getting the list of players. I've double, triple, and quadruple checked my firewall rules (Which have not changed since GT was able to query it before). I've also added a specific rule to whitelist all traffic between GT IPs and my server, both inbound and outbound. Yet GameTracker still sees the server as dead. At this point I am at a loss to what may be causing this, as nothing significant has changed that I thought would cause GameTracker to be unable to scan the server. If anyone has any ideas as to how I can get GT to see my server as Alive again, it would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

If that is a master server listing, it would likely get its information differently than GT. (I've never been to that site nor have an account to view it).
Did you recently update the server? In a recent server update, JC2MP started using GS4 protocol. GT has not been updated to scan JC2 servers under this protocol. |

Ahh yeah, that would probably explain it, since I did update it a week or 2 ago. I hadn't thought to check the Changelog to see if they changed the query protocol.
Thanks for the help. Is there any chance that GT will be updated to support this for JC2MP anytime soon? |

GT will be updated for it, but I am not aware of a specific day currently.
