Honestly I don't think so.

Dead game=the point of no return. In my experience, that is around 50 or less daily players.

DOI has between 300 and 400 daily. Games like COD2 and DODS have bounced back from those numbers, you can have a look at the steamdb charts.

And...half of the games tracked by GT could be dead by those standards.
