No, it's a normal domain name, resolving to a static IP. I have changed hostings, and the IP changed, so I want to change the IP here on GT, without losing the rank of the servers. That's why I added the DNS which points to the new IP so that GT will update the page to the new IP.

Do you have set your domain here? This is an example of my server.

This issue should be resolved now.

Thanks, but I am still experiencing the same thing. DNS address added, the link of the page changes, but if I open it from the server browser page, it links me to the one with the DNS in it, and it says it doesn't exist. IP remains the same.

"GT checks the DNS address to see if the IP has changed once per day, or more often if the server is offline.

It can take longer or appear in error temporarily if:
- How long it takes the DNS IP change to propagate.
- If the original server is online or offline.
- The new server is not online
- The new server is already on the website but not claimed."

The process is never instant.

Alright, I have taken the server on the old IP offline, maybe that will somewhat speed up the process, it has taken too long already.

Now my server just disappeared. It went away from my favourites, can't find it with either link, and does not appear in the server browser. What happened?

If it's not online, bring it online.
If it is online try adding it again

I was able to add them again, but this defeats the whole purpose. I wanted to retain the old rank, but now that's gone without a trace. I'm a bit disappointed.
