I added a DNS adress since my server ip sometimes changes.

The Dns adress registerd but the GT server ip changed?? and now GT says the server is offline.

can someone please help me?

It may help us to know the old IP, the dns name, the new IP, the game type and server name to investigate your issue.

Thanks for your response i am sorry for the lack of details here they are.

Old IP: 93.26.232.116
DNS Name:ef.ddns.net
Game type: AAPG
Server Name: [EF]=Elite Fighters=|Inner|*NEW*InnerHospital

New Ip: 52.204.110.189 the IP reported on GT changed on its own a few hours after i set the DNS Name.

The actual server IP hasnt changed it is still on 93.26.232.116

I was able to locate an America's Army Proving Grounds server named "[EF]=Elite Fighters=|Inner|*NEW*InnerHospital" at IP:port 93.26.232.116:27015

The dns name ef.ddns.net is currently resolving to 52.204.110.189
If you open a command prompt and ping ef.ddns.net you will see this

Your server join port on the Gametracker page is set to 7778

It would appear that your dns name is pointing to an incorrect IP?

Yes this is my server.

This is what the dns service says about the 52.204.110.189 IP.

"The IP addresses 8.23.224.90, 50.19.220.154 and 52.204.110.189 are the direct locations for our web redirect servers. If you have a hostname setup as a web redirect, port 80 redirect or have an offline page enabled, these are the IPs that will be assigned to your host."

Is there a way to revert to the real ip? if i cannot get the DNS fixed?

It would appear then, that your dns service is not redirecting to your physical server address of 93.26.232.116.

Can you check your dns service settings to ensure you have the correct IP redirection?

I am not absolutely certain about switching back to IP address only.
Burn will know the answer to this.

The DNS address needs to resolve to the IP address of the server. You might see this as an "A" record when configuring your DNS. I've never used DDNS.net so I do not know their options, but a "web redirect" doesn't sound like the correct option.

If your DNS address starts resolving to 93.26.232.116, the server will automatically switch back.
