What is server rank?

Server rank is simply your server's popularity in relation to other servers within that game.

How often is server rank computed?

Daily.

What is "Popularity"?

GameTracker looks at the activity on your server over the course of the 7 days. The monthly average should closely match where you are for rank in respect to other servers, but because it is on a different time period (monthly vs. weekly), it will not match.

Servers with more players are more popular than those with fewer. So, servers with higher player counts have an advantage... as long as they are able fill those extra slots up.

Servers that maintain player activity are more popular than those that do not. For example, a 16 slot server full the entire day is more popular than a 32 slot server full for only one hour a day.

Downtime is treated as if the server was online and empty.
