GameTracker looks more closely at the past week of data for server rank. That is why it may seem to not completely follow the "monthly" average value... since it does not... since just using that number solely would lead to much exploitation in the ranking system.
The system does look at the past month, just with more weight to the recent week. ![]() |

I have to ask the same thing. I know I have asked and was answered before ( but that was during the scanning problems) Since those errors began, this sites rankings have dropped 120+ but the server has maintained a consistent flow of players as the players stats show.

If you base popularity on 'player stats' - which I guess is what I am trying to understand.

If you look under the first graph in the historical data viewing a "week" of data, you can see that the other two servers are noticeably more popular than your server. 1stMSOB is close to yours, that is why it is barely ahead of you. OLDFARTS is also very close to 1stMSOB, that is why they are barely ahead of them.
Popularity of a server is more the less the amount of players that play on the server and the trend in the number of players in over time. The more, the better rank you will have. ![]() |

Well, it's good to see that players still got some cards in hand.

I know, I know, I'm getting tired of posting as well.
I am still bothered by the tracking and wonder about the following: Yesterday (Sat) I was on the Bones server and was playing with 29 other players. Yet the graph does not show that amount at any time. I even left the game to make room for other players after about 10 mins. It's not as if there were only 29 on for 5 secs. 1 map had 27-29 players during the entire gameplay and subsequent map rotation. http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/68.232.172.250:28960/ Thoughts? and thanks. |

The graph is an average over the respective hour in order to more accurately describe the popularity of that server - it is not solely a maximum as that would be very exploitable. It looks like the average for the hour was only 23, so I am guessing it did not have 28/29 players for the 20ish scans over the hour.

LOL I do thank you for your replies and appreciate your patience. But yes there were 29 players on the map, varied between 27-29, last night and if I can pull up a screenshot I will but that shouldn't be necessary.
I will sort this out and again, thanks Burn for the replies. |
