Hey all

I own a Call of Duty 4 server and I was thinking of changing the host but I was wondering...can I export the player stats to the new server (different IP) or can I at least modify my server info and add the new IP so the stats can be saved once I switch to the new host?

There is no feature to transfer statistics to a new server page or just modify the IP : Port of an existing page. If you have a new IP or join port, you must add the new combination.

There may be some feature in the future to help in the situation of using a new address. We cannot give an accurate time frame when something could potentially be created.

If your server is just as popular at the new IP, you will jump up in the rankings back to where you would have been. If your server is not as popular, it will go down to the same ranking in either situation - if the servers old rank was kept or if the server started at a low rank. Ranking is determined from a one month time period, so the server will be to where it should be in the ranking very quickly. The algorithm looks more closely at the recent week or so, so you should notice the biggest jumps fairly quickly.

But what about players stats and rankings? I'm more interested in that because I know my server will get back where it is right now as it's the best Search and Destroy server in Cod 4, but I was wondering if the players stats list could be saved.

Ok Burn, thanks for your replies, I was asking for the player stats because the server has been online for 1 year and almost 40 000 players have played on it, the stats list was impressive, but I guess I'll have to start it all over from scratch.
