Player Count Is Wrong For My Server

Hello,

This is my server: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/109.123.124.137:28990

For the past few days and I am sure before as well, in the historical panel on the right side, it shows that there have been less players than what it really was the case. For example, today we had 15-16 if not 17 players maximum online at the same time and yet, the historical data only shows 11-12. This makes our rank to be way lower than it should actually be. Please fix this as it is not fair for our server.

Many thanks,
Dbot

Hi,

From what you wrote, it sounds like it is working correctly. The historical player graph is not a maximum player count, but rather an average over each hour. Simply putting the maximum would be a misleading indicator for the popularity of the server, especially if maximums were what were considered for rank, unfortunately.

If you average 15-17 players over an hour, you will see the graph go that high. However, if you averaged 15-17 for a half an hour, you will only see 7-8 there.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Thanks for the quick reply,

So basically, the rank works properly and the server tracking is not bugged, right? That makes sense, what u said earlier.
