the impossible thing is done. you can play now aa2 like it was before.
with honors and authentification !!!!

it is only a small little step backwards to do - back to aa2 2.5.

why ?

a little time ago, somebody called jonny has made a programm for better assist, called
aa25assist. and this guy now has done great job again.
he made possible, that you can play - with that aa25assist-programm - again aa with honors and authentification. WOW !!

the only thing you have to do is downloading this aa25assist from
http://aa25assist.sourceforge.net/

install it. you can have run it parallel to aa2 2.8.5 - just to see if you like it.
therefore, and for the authentification system, you have to be registered by
http://battletracker.com

if you had already an account there, you honors will be given back to you again.
with this account - and password - you can connect over aa25assist to play again
WITH HONORS AND AUTHENTIFICATION !!
and, for those who had already 100 honor points like me - you can get 110 honors now!

so download it, make your account with password, and enjoy the game again.
some small restrictions have be done. you can not configure the settings after starting the game; you have to do this over this aa25assist-programm. but realy no problem at all.

to be sure, that this game will not be dead - go back from 2.8.5 and install like written above. then we all are a lot of players again to join aa2 almost like it was before.

and - over this assist, you have access to the forum - if any problems would be occure.

myself will switch my [SWISS]PowerServer back to aa 2.5 for that reason.

hope you will join me there - and maybe - you will kill me

but dont forget - you must login over this aa25assist - otherwise you will not be authorized and the honors will not be given
