Hello,
is it possible to track my ArmA 2 Server with arma2oaserver.exe version 1.62.103718(noSteam old fashion server) on GameTracker.com and when yes how i have to configure the server.cfg correctly? I have set my reportingIp = "master.bistudio.com". I launch the server with parameter -port=2314 and all ports for the arma2oaserver.exe are open in the windows firewall settings. When i try to track the server on gametracker with gameport 2314 and queryport 2315 or 2316 i cant find it. i really dont know what i'm doing wrong here. Is it possible to track a nonSteam ArmA2 server with a lower gameversion than 1.63(Steam)?

GameTracker will not be directly supporting any illegal copies of games. That's not to say it wouldn't work, just as long as it works the same as a legal version. This is our main topic on "my server will not scan" questions http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=108248

Before ArmA 2 patch 1.63 there was no ArmA 2 on Steam, so a non Steam ArmA 2 server is more the normal thing than a A2 Steam server at least for me as Arma 2 player of the first minute. there seems to be no way anymore to track a old fashion ArmA 2 server how i did it a few years ago here on gametracker with my 1.62 servers. in the whole arma2 gameserver gametracker list are no 1.62 server anymore, only 1.63 servers. http://www.gametracker.com/search/arma2/?search_by=server_variable&search_by2=version&query=1.62&loc=_all&sort=&order= it really seems that it isn't possible to track 1.62 servery any more. Too bad

Oh, when people say non-steam, it typically means a hacked copy of the game that does not require users to use steam.
If it is an outdated game version, the query is probably broken ever since the gamespy shutdown. The game devs released an update in 2014, and that topic I directs you to query information about that. ![]() |
