download the easy installer

run installer and start bf1942 after if you see server list your done
this also fix the freeze lock up on bf1942 when you press internet button.

Nice to see another masterserver project coming up.

It's bad that gamespy closes but fortunately there are communities that make it work in future.

I play Unreal Tournament so i would have the same problem, but i installed some multi master from http://www.333networks.com which supports a load of other games.

You may want to let your forum know that at 333networks we already support Battle Field 1942

You can just swap the gamepy master in your config to use master.333networks.com

I really don't care what the community chooses. It's just that so many servers have no clue about these fixes.

I think more work needs to be done to get the word out about these solutions. BF1942 Must live on.

EA games will shutdown June 30, so we still have a month to raise awareness. So many servers still have the dated May 31st as the shutdown date.

Also just to let people know, updating BF1942 is even easier now thanks to a member on Emile's clan forum: http://forum.bf1942.sk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1813&start=20
