Friend I downloaded How I was In the Link I downloaded the game and installed the packs but I can not play by Gametracker min help

It only plays on 1.21 servers.

You can try launching the game, going to Multiplayer (Internet) and scanning servers. There will be a few second pause once you click "Update" servers, but after a few seconds it should begin scanning the servers. I don't know if it works with GameTracker..usually you need to download GameTracker Lite and then link BF Vietnam to this program, then you can use it to join servers.

Where do I need to install these patches to to get it working?
I've downloaded them, installed them in the main folder, launched the game but still no widescreen.

Hope you guys can help me out and give me some direction

You can edit the files to make it widescreen yourself..and there is now no multiplayer patch, you have to join through GameTracker..
