I'm currently running a Call of Duty 4 1.7 server (no mods) on Ubuntu 18.04.3. Everything is working properly and I can connect to it outside of my network, but my server is not showing up on the server list for some reason.

I remember this happening in 2012 when I played CoD4 a lot, but I usually just refreshed it a few times and it would eventually show up, but now it's not. I've waited two days. What's going on?

I've deleted servercache.dat and that didn't help. I'd appreciate any ideas!

Assuming all settings are correct and the proper ports are forwarded on your router. You can try to stop your server for 30 minutes and then restart it. This will give the master server enough time to wipe the old record of the server, and upon restart will create a new one which should work perfectly.

dont think normal cod 1.7 works properly anymore, I would advise you to go to cod4X 1.8 and add their server list key in your cfg. never have had problems doing it that way.

could we have a sneak peak at your config?
