Hello, I Want To Create A CS 1.6 Server I've Done Everything Related To Port Forwarding And Etc, And The Port 27015 Is Showing Open in Port Forward Testing Websites. The Main Issue Is That When I Start My Server (HLDS) Either In Normal (GUI) Mode Or the Console Mode The Server Starts And Says
"Connection To Steam Servers Successful."
"VAC Secure Mode Is Activated"
But When i Try To Add The Server In GameTracker, It Says The Server IS OFFLINE!:T And When I See The Port 27015 Through The Command "netstat -ano | findstr :27015" I See The HLDS Entry Like This,

"UDP 0.0.0.0:27015 *:* 5796"
In Netstat The HLDS IS Using Only UDP And Not TCP
Please Guys Tell Me What Is Wrong:'( , Is This Normal Or Not

running assuming on your own PC? Windows is not recommended due to when you PC is shutdown your CS serve is also shutdown.

If you have a VPS using windows OS as its OS template then its good idea .

normally most host providers i have seen they enable all ports for you but some times a single ticket to the host provider then enable it .

"UDP 0.0.0.0:27015 *:* 5796" [Note UDP port 27015 is Game Port for HLDS]

it is showing correct and it is enabled.

Gametracker shows offline , if you have firewall like build in AV mostly that needs to be disabled of add an exception to explicitly allow port 27010-27090 so this range port is opened and filtered.

Let me know if after this you still have issues.

Yes I Have Opened Port 27015 And Ports 27016-27030 In My Router
And In Firewall I Have Allowed ONLY Port 27015, And I Have No Other 3rd Party Firewall Or Anti-Virus, By The Way I Have Tried Adding Server In GameTracker AFTER Disabling Windows Firewall Too. DMZ Also Doesn't Help. Any Other Ideas?
EDIT-By The Way The Port Is Showing Closed For Some Reason Now(Yes I Am Running The Server While Testing The Port) What The Hell Is Wrong? It Was Open Yesterday But Not Now.

most probably ISP is filtering it ... Home PC always has issue with port forwarding and thats why i suggest you use a host provider instead of using home PC.

one more thing to note: opening a port invites others for exploit and ddos your unsecure home PC/router

No I Have Contacted My ISP And They Said This:
"Dear Customer,

As we analysed your query, We do not block any of the ports in our network. Moreover, your individual connectivity is connected with Dynamic IP. The dynamic IP keeps on changing on every single session.

Moreover, We do not have any ports blocked at our end.

Thank you."
And Yes I Know That We Cannot Port Forward With Dynamic IP, But The Port Should At Least Open Until The IP Changes. My Port Just DOESN't OPEN AT ALL!

EDIT- Just Remembered I Used uTorrent Yesterday And I've Put 27015 In uTorrent Port Settings And If I Download Anything In uTorrent The Port Is Open Until It Downloads. But When i Use HLDS the Port Doesn't Open
PS:- I Have Downloaded HLDS Using SteamCMD.

Image 1 select UDP port 27015
Image 2 Again select single protocol UDP and Port 27015

Internal IP: 192.168.0.1 [LAN IP] this points to The WAN automatic for port forwarding.

Ok so reset your port settings make sure select single UDP port 27015 first and stop HLDS and Start again.

I Don't Get it, The Port Is Set To TCP AND UDP Right? So Why Use ONLY UDP?
