I have a slightly annoying problem don't know how to fix this. What happens is, I have a favorites list, when I exit and then open the game, some random servers get added to my favorites list. I edit my favorites list (Add my actual favorites/ remove the fake added favorites), when I exit and open again, the same fake servers are added to my favorites list. How can I stop my favorites list from getting messed with? I thought it was the ServerBrowser files lcoated: Counter-Strike\platform\config & Counter-Strike\config, but it wasn't them. They don't contain any of the fake favorite servers. Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Nevermind, all I had to do was check the Hide Boosted Servers. This has been bothering me for a week now. Damned boosted servers ruining my life.

i had same issue when i played on one server. i just had to exit my counter-strike 1.6 and clear contents of config.cfg under below path since i am using steam i had to exit steam completely also.

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike\config.cfg

after clearing , i started steam . it resetted to default.

takes 2 min to configure again like your name and settings of mouse etc.
