Hey guyz..
Players who join my cs1.6 server gets re-directed to some other server....I think it is some kind of slow hack..... but i hv tried re-installing and changing ip and all that,.... is there any files to be edited ot deleted??

I got the same problem with my servers before and i was totally confused and irritated, then i went on a mission to find the problem. And it just took several minutes to find the issue and solve it.

Now straight forward to issue:
This is caused by the uploading of a slow hacking redirection plugin to your server with a name that you don't doubt on like
-Timeleft.amxx or
-nextmap.amxx or any other plugin.

Solution:
Try disabling plugins 1 by 1 and restarting server after disabling each plugin. Soon you will find the hacked plugin.

To protect your server from future vulnerabilities run your server with latest patched swds.dll (in cstrike directory) and dproto.dll.

You can disable plugins 1 by 1 in plugins.ini file by addding ";" (without quotes ") before plugin name.

Hope your problems will be solved.

ok follow this step will fix your problem like me :

goto: cstrike==>addons==>amxmodx==>configs==> if you find files called "maps" remove

change the file "user.ini" by right clicking, change "octal=0555"

may you will find files ending ".ini" when you open it countain line "pause rcon , racon defender ...."
