I went into this server to play the game but saw I could only be a man, so I killed myself. I'm a female and don't like playing as a man. I like to play as Andrea and she's definitely far from manly looking.

You should be able to pick from both now Ramirezi. One of our perks, the class selection lets you pick from the following:

If your a new player or not Walking dead servers epoch vanilla or anything else is always a great place to go, If your a hero or a bandit this server has a fair share of both, admins are always ontop of issues that come up and are prompt to fix them. All around great server so come join us at walking dead servers

We have put a lot of work into the server, its nice to see lots of players on. Thanks for you comments, they are very encouraging.

I play on this server and I have had a good time with it so far. Got interested in the mod after being introduced to DayZ through playing Standalone. Bounced around a few servers looking for somewhere to call home, and finally settled on the Walking Dead US Epoch server, along with another friend from Standalone.

The server is well run, and has plenty of custom scripts that allow players additional functionality. There are some added features in the cities and in hidden locations out in the woods, and the added ability to create a Mozzie helicopter out of spare parts makes getting around Chernarus quick and simple.

I also enjoy being able to make master keys for multiple vehicles, and being able to create keys for vehicles that I find or capture during missions. There server also has quite a bit of extra weapons and equipment obtainable through missions and PVP.

Probably the coolest thing though, is the server's namesake zombie population, which actually do walk. They are a lot tougher than any other DayZ zombies, and you have to aim for the head in order to kill them. The fact that they are walking instead of running at you tends to dramatically change the way the game plays...and tends to breed overconfidence.

Nothing like looking up from what you were doing only to realize that the couple of zombies you were ignoring have slowly turned into a mob closing in around you
