Is FFOW master server down?
I cant launch my own dedicated FFOW server on windows machine anymore Error looks like that: ====================================== RendezVous: CreateOnlineGame: Map=FL-Hindsight Type=0 Flags=1073741189 Public=34 Private=1 DevOnline: PendingMatch.OnSetPendingMatchState() DevOnline: GetMinNetPlayers() : 2 DevOnline: bWaitForNetPlayers : True DevOnline: bWarmupRound : True DevOnline: Enabled Diagnostic Services. Listening on Port 11000 for Requests RendezVous: The dedicated server was disconnected from RendezVous. Attempting to reconnect. RendezVous: Error while attempting logout. Critical: appError called: Critical: Assertion failed: GameLobby.LoginSettings [File:C:\projects\Preproduction-FinalPC\Development\Src\GCGameLobby\Src\GCGameLobbyPC.cpp] [Line: 231] Stack: Critical: Windows GetLastError: The handle is invalid. (0) Log: === Critical error: === Assertion failed: GameLobby.LoginSettings [File:C:\projects\Preproduction-FinalPC\Development\Src\GCGameLobby\Src\GCGameLobbyPC.cpp] [Line: 231] Stack: ====================================== Seems that logging process is the problem, so I assume its under FFOW side not mine, as I didnt touched the server since many weeks and after a reboot it stopped to run properly. |

I dont doubt it. THQ is in extremely serious financial trouble. Homefront game was a complete debacle, and is dead already. There are as many servers for Homefront as there are FFoW now. The HF servers provided by THQ are gone now as well. So the fact the master server for an even deader game has gone offline, is not too hard to believe.

ff-feelgood wrote: comparing current list of http://www.gametracker.com/search/ffow/ and http://www.gametracker.com/search/homefront/ shows a big difference, in ffow we had atleast 2 or 3 popular servers with lot of players, now all of those disappeared, its sad because even if ffow had so small amount of servers we always had lot of players on them to play, so what now, I can put my FFOW cd box in to trash? |

Fortunately FFOW features a LAN mode. You can host 64 player dedicated servers with any VPN software. If not already done, someone should register a FFOW Room for Tunngle and build up a new FFOW community there...

Tunngle works
I manage to bind the server to tunngle network All you need is to get tunngle software from http://www.tunngle.net and register an own account, then find the network by typing an name: "Frontlines" Join it and launch your FFOW game, then click on play LAN game, then you'll find my server on your list: IP: 7.48.29.201 Join port: 20013 Query Port: 20020 Unfortunelly my server will not be online much of the time, about 2 weeks from now, maybe less, if there's anyone else who could provide an ffow server with tunngle it would be great. So the thing is that THQ closed their statistics server, thats why if you launch your dedicated server with: -Online, parameter it wont work, instead use: -Lan, and use your IP binded by tunngle adapter btw, I am unable to add that server to gametracker database, it says its firewalled and the address is blocking GT query servers, idk how to resolve that
