Can anyone tell me how my server "rank" is calculated and to what it is compared?

By that I mean, is it dependent on the actual number of players or the percentage of maximum, and is it compared to servers that are specific to Game Tracker, or all online servers for that game?

How can I find the number of servers to which mine is being compared?

I am quite happy with my ranking of 26th, considering I'm only hosting a 16 player Insurgency standalone server; however, I'd like to know the overall numbers to know if I should remain happy.

Rank is simply the popularity of your server over the past week against other servers in that game. The more activity, the better.

You can determine the number of servers tracked for your game:

1. From the search list http://www.gametracker.com/search/insurgency2014/ (you'd have to do the math)
2. A little below the logout button on the current page.
3. The same spot as 2 but on the main insurgency page http://www.gametracker.com/games/insurgency2014/

Additionally, on every server page you can find a "percentile". Whatever percentile you are, it means you are better than x% of the servers.
