I hope someone can help me and explain how to claim a server

there is a server without a admina and there are often problem with chaning the maps etc. so that's the reason i want to claim it (to be able to fix the problem)

here is the adress http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/85.25.149.184:27973/ (you see the server is not claimed)

So, the question is, can i claim the server although it's not mine since it doesn't have a admin to fix the problem?

the only way you can claim a server is to also have admin rights to that server .
The way GT has done this is so that admins can change the name of the server to Gametracker then change it back .
This is a very good idea so that not everyone can claim any server

i know it's good... but there is no admin to this server (that's the problem)

and i don't know how to become the admin

You can try and find out who hosts the server, and contact them. for example, most people that host servers are big company's (businesses with high bandwidth), trace the IP address and find out who the hoster is. I just did a quick trace and shows "SERVER4YOU Dedicated Server Hosting" from "intergenia AG", Now I'm not from that part of the world so I don't know who they are, But to me it looks like someone is renting a dedicated server and using it to host Q3.

But basically, you need to get in contact with the owner/high administrator of the server and inform them.

for claim quake3 server

name of server must contain text :

" GameTrackerClaimOwner " in name

then claim on web your profile

then rename server name back
