Welcome to HogSquad for Halo...

Race Evolved is a dedicated race server that is continuously modifying itself, using lots of modding technology in the server functions and games to keep things fun and fast moving, negating non-racers and disrupters by messing with them until they race... or maybe they're awarded a ticket to Pony's Express Checkout, either way entertaining if you're the ones racing.

Race line-up includes Normal Navs, Any Order Navs and Rally Navs; with All Chaingunhogs, All Rockethogs, Mixed Warthogs, Multi Vehicles and the fast n' furious Anarchy Races.

Racing should be somewhat realistic, with that spirit in mind team kill is set to heavy weapons and penalties are employed for TK's and Suicides.

The Rules are standard race rules, they do allow for self-defense on foot against other players and loaded Hogs, but only if you're in imminent danger, no slaying. The rules are also strongly enforced, if you abuse them or don't race the Server will mess with you eventually awarding an express ticket. Also, at map start no attacking or defending until you're in a moving Hog.

Remember in race you must be playing by getting to the next nav/flag as quickly as possible. Things like not actively racing or practicing stunts are counterproductive and not fair to your team. You are expected to follow the rules at all times.

People that are here to race usually find a way to quickly get in a hog and race. You shouldn't get naded at map start. There are extra hogs to ensure that everyone should be able to get a hog if they want one. Racers get preferential treatment here. Slayers and Team betrayers are dealt with by the Server.

To you Old Halo Dogs, I say it's better to evolve than fade away.

Sometimes though you just wanna shake things up, break away from the norm and offer custom game types in all types of games with variations of the Server such as Combat Evolved, Race Rotation and Race Wars.

Have fun and a good time in the Server but, expect that all will be held to a higher standard. Just be nice.

A Server's goal is to attract and keep good players who follow rules and to quickly discharge the rule breakers. Racers do get preferential treatment here and not to be left out, offenders will not be tolerated, often winning a trip on Pony's Express to the Lobby, repeaters will be banned. If you’re found breaking rules apologize, often infractions are unintended, like you didn't see the other hog there. don't be offensive to anyone, there will be no name-calling or otherwise talking to others in an offensive manner. The Chat Filter will block offensive language and then warn.
