| New Ads on the website |

9/3/09 Notice the ads? Since I've had my domain name, I had been trying to setup google adsense but couldn't get it to work. Eventully I just gave up with trying to put ads on here and forgot all about it. Well recently I found websiteoutlook.com, a site that allows you to type in any domain name, and then shows you it's estimated worth. I thought this was a pretty cool site and I got thinking about adsense again. So anyway, I started looking back into google adsense and figured out how to get the ads working. I guess I didn't read the part about the ads taking approximately 10 minutes to actually show up on your website. So anyway, I inserted the ad codes into the pages and waited a few minutes, cleared my cache and now I can see them. So I guess the trick is to be patient. LOL. Anyways, I hope the ads don't bother you guys too much. I just thought I'd give adsense a try. Maybe I'll make enough to have this website pay for itself. In other news, I've been experimenting with some new scripts for our city maps tdm server. Hop on the server and I'll execute them for you. 7/26/09 Wow, I can't believe it's been 3 months since I've posted an update here. I was pretty much out of town for a two month period and I'm finally back home. I got married in June which is why I was gone for so long lol. Anyway, Now that I'm back there's going to be a lot more going on around here. While I was away, my ISP for some reason decided to change the IP of the City Maps TDM server. So I just got all of the stat tracking on gametracker fixed. The new ip is 98.164.7.247:27960. Had a lot of good games on City Maps TDM today. I have begun working on a new video for our videos page. I'm doing a video of my favorite map, midnight. When the video is done I'm going to post it on the urbanterror.net forums as a way to hopefully get more server admins to add it to their mapcycles. It's such a great map and it's kind of a shame that Bomb and TS and City Maps TDM are the only servers that run it. Well I guess that's about all I have to say for now. Well that was a crazy bad storm we had all day yesterday. Everything is back to normal now. I have a few updates to post here. We have 2 new clan members, [DJSDE]goOFy and [DJSDE]RoLfeY. Welcome to both of you! Today I have updated the credits page with a listing of all current clan members at the bottom under the credits, so go there and check it out! One of our videos on the videos page has been removed due to a copyright issue by google, so we will be replacing it with a new video soon. If you've got any demos or videos of good gameplay on our servers, send them to us and we'll post them on our videos page! | Severe Weather Alert |

We are currently under a sever thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch. There are a few tornado warnings in the area as well. The severe weather has taken out our power a couple times already within the past 30 minutes, so a longer downtime is possible here for the DJSDE City Maps TDM server. As always we'll have the server up and running as long as there's no outages here. Man I really needto invest in a UPS since I basically have a mini-data center here at my apartment. I'll have to take some pictures and show them off for you guys. Anyway, I'm gonna go check The Weather Channel. | Minor Site Updates |

Today I did a lot of basic site maintenance. Fixing broken links, updating incorrect and outdated information, and so on. I will be doing a few more site updates over the next few days. I am currently taking recommendations for new maps to add to the new DJSDE City Maps 4.1 TDM server. So far I have only added 1 map, ut4_paris_beta_3. It's a pretty cool map. Very nice looking. Although it really seems to be designed more for CTF, I think it plays TDM fairly well. Map and nextmap votes are disabled on the server but you can still do cyclemap votes. I'm also looking into new ways to "pimp out" our QuakeNet IRC channel, #digitalempire so if you have any ideas let me know.
