Time for an update.


I stopped working on new maps for a while now and kept concentrating on the tool set.

The documentation has been expanded a lot (but still much left to add) and I finally got vehicles to show up on the radar with the help of iwanpompier: http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?p=27385465#post27385465

It's not perfect yet, but they finally show up. Now you need to be careful with Leviathans and Minos because the enemy will know their location all the time.

Well, doesn't have something to do, but I thought I post something that I just modeled for a little project that me and some friends are creating in 4 days at school: a Tower Defense game. I do the models with another guy and the other two do the game logic and put the stuff together.

So here's what I did today, but I didn't really put much effort into the texture. :d




That thing is placed on top of a tower. I mainly made the towers until now.

Now I just need to figure how to export the animation of the catapult correctly. :>

Wow, sounds good! Catapult a bit looks like Unreal Engine 1 but I don't say anything with it. Every engine has its own beauties.

I think when I'll have a bank card then I'll donate to both Techcom and you.

Well, I don't even have a bank account yet, all I own is cash.

But I will get one soon hopefully… don't want to miss earning the interest. But it would also feel kinda weird if I put my bank information here like I would say "guys, donate me!!!111"…

Ok, I tried to export the SkeletalMesh of the Hammerhead to turn it into a StaticMesh that can be used when the vehicle gets destroyed.

But that didn't work, so I created my own dead Hammerhead from scratch:


Looks good, doesn't it?
