Introduce (maybe NEA's Diner or Lobos Room for variation)
Streets
JPNCTF
Alleys
FAtal X
DD Extinction ....etc

There are some maps there that I do not like but these mapos generally bring in the punters, when it's full it's always fun anyway so it's a win win situation. For this erver to be popular once more I think this is the way forward. Then if anybody has the time and the skills to mod it would be worth it when it gets populr again.

Duno,you say that you love standard map also,i love too and know other good players who love standard maps(so there exist this kind of players).Some players love only standard maps so i ask saw to put that map in row couse is easier for admin to change on standard map in that case.So,if you think that we have to change that i dont have nothing against that suggestion..I will remember id of standard map if players love standard when i play.Sry for misunderstood

I can see your point, but I think why i posted this and even though Dankos prefers standard maps, it is just a small minority. I would say out of every 10 players 2/10 prefer standard so thats a big customer base lost. If I want to play standard maps and I think other people do, they go to TDM or DM to play as they have good decent servers already catered for standard maps.

CTF is a different game, for some reason i dont think standard maps fit in too well with CTF, something about the atmosphere of standard that does not appeal to CTF players. Not as much fun thats why i think they all leave. If MXT started to put all standard on their server I can guarantee it would not be soo popular.

It's worth a try but you must also put something different to bring people in. I think there are some maps what definitely make it a TGS server what people used to come for and that is

Tiny CTF
Bunker
Trench Warfare i remember was popular when server was full
Alleys
Fatal X

If you add these and some other random that I mentioned or you have any other suggestions I am sure within two weeks it will be back to how it used to be.

o well is me to blaim i put standard maps al in a row , well i head alot of reqest for old standard maps by some old players , so that was the triger to put them like this , gues thats was not such a good idea ...

Is much more inportant to me what you guys think then enybody else.

Ill set difrent map rotation , 1 setandard then 1 moded and so on ..

at the botom line , cant please all , thats why we have vote for next map thingy turned on .

You do a good job with the server and it is up to you dont think by my post you have to change it, it is just my humble opinion.

It just depends on what you want from the server. If it is popularity and people always joining then take some of my advice, if you want just for a select few to join and us TGS crew for weekend mathes I am sure we would have lots of fun with the standard maps.

It just depends on what you want, it is your server. Do not let us change your opinion. I will always play there no matter what you choose!!!!

on custom maps lot of people camp with asp like on MXT server, but if u like it ok, but it will be without me, sorry
