Hello guys, I recently discovered this game and I created a new coop server with bots to learn a bit before me and my friends join other better servers, with more experienced players.

At moment the server is online, however it is not possible to add it to GT, or the other list that exist within the game (bfvietnam-v1.21-patched) kudos to the effort of that community.

My server is on a rented VPS, can anyone help me to at least add the server to GT rank? Some tips to whitelist the necessary ports, maybe. Thank you.

Thank you, baarfly, but is not accepting the server, and I don´t know why. The default query port is 23000, however I tried with another few query ports, with no result.

I must say, I already added and claimed other 8 game servers, and a TeamSpeak voice server, without issues. This is the one that is giving me headaches (there is always one pain in the arse, isn´t it?)

Edit: query port 23000 has been opened with iptables commands, and still does not work. join port 15567 obviously is opened, otherwise we wouldn't be able to connect and play.

If so.. I'm sorry. Ask someone else. I never had that kind of probs..

I finally did it! For those who are having problems like me adding a BFV server, query port is 29000.

This is the config value that needs to be paid attention to with the default installation: game.gameSpyPort 29000
