Hey Chaos thanks for the inquiry and for playing on the OSGN server. To answer your question membership is by invite only. When we see that a guest is playing regularly and meshing with our members one might be considered for membership.

Good day everyone, my name is CHAOS in game. I just recently came back to playing CS:S after about 6 years or so of not playing due to getting my life back on track. I was formerly in HSx when I was playing on a daily basis. I am wondering what the requirements are to join OSGN if you are taking applications for memberships. I have been playing in your server now about a week or so now and love playing with everyone.

You were NOT banned we see nothing that you have been banned. It may be issues on your behalf as I do remember that you have been Steam Kicked for odd reasons in the past. YOU are welcome to the server, you are a good gamer, respect our rules and 100% welcome.

I've been playing on this server for probably 5-6 years near-daily [username is mike/intheoffice(nosound)]

I joined like normal a few minutes ago, said hey to a friend who was playing and said I was putting in some headphones for once so I had sound, and right as I had typed that I got a popup through steam that said "added to ban list" - no explanation or anything. Now the server doesn't even show up in my favorites list, nor can I connect to it manually.

Would love to know what happened and why as I enjoy playing there frequently and don't really get what happened. I'm sure that's a pretty standard story people have even when they clearly did something wrong but in this case I legitimately don't get it at all, makes zero sense. Thanks.

hmslc You had been warned verbally as well as a few typed messages and then you were kicked and ultimately banned. The admins reported to you that you ping was way to high, thus this leads to lagging and skipping on the server.

I just got banned from this server, no idea what I did. I joined and played two rounds then the admin mumbled something unintelligible (crackly mic) and banned me, ban reason "Breaking server rules". I don't think I did anything wrong?
