lightninglemur, what was your name before you changed it? We have been operating over 10 years and have had very few problems with administration. I'll check the logs, but I highly doubt it was an admin on a power trip so try some honesty.

Banned for no reason on CS:S gun game, admin bias and abuse (ironic for a "mature" gaming community)

Joined in the server with a non-offensive name, had an admin say "thank you for changing your name") - I can disclose the admin abuser if necessary.

After he thanked me for changing my name, I didnt respond, and a minute later I was banned...weird ego trip if you ask me. No reason for the ban, just a power hungry admin I suppose?

Anyway, just wanted to bring the blatant mod abuse to light, sad for "mature" gaming community!

hsmlucii, not all players with OSGN Tags are Admins. As often the case, some people do not hear or even read the warnings. Have a good Day.

i say admins but thats just an assumption, i was under the impression people with the OSGN tag are admins that might be wrong

admin did not say anything about my ping before banning me(ban message said for cheating/exploits if i remember right), i have also talked to some of your other admins when i was on the server and they said it was fine and that i should say it was fine when asked(no one asked), lastly i was also not bunny hopping unless we have different thoughts on what that is.

hsmlucii, You were banned to a high ping and Bunny Hopping. At OSGN we welcome all, however if your ping is above 120, and yours was at 180, we kindly ask that you fix the problem or leave. The Admins in the server will always ask then they will type then they will kick and then they will ban. You are in Norway and the server is in Chicago, Illinois. Such a long distance could often create this. OSGN Dolomite

RUKM..... I play on that server daily, for the most part, for the past 10 years. No one on the server has ever heard of you and no one knows you. As far as the lockdown, that is a clan thing that we do once a week for clan members only. You are more then welcome to join the game when it's not locked down.

Rukm, sometimes they have a private event, it is not usually password protected.

hi! been playing on the server off and on for about 7 years. All of a sudden, the server is password protected and I can't get anybody to respond to me. Just wondering if I did something to upset someone, really enjoy playing on the server.
